We only store metadata

This means we are not storing full copies of your files/notes/tasks etc. However in order to provide our service we need to store data about your data - metadata (names of files, when it was created etc.) We still treat this information with high security.

We only ask for the permissions we really need

We make sure we only ask for the minimum possible permissions to let you search across your stuff and perform things like creating a new task.

We don’t save your searches

We never save things you have been searching. We are not in the business of selling your data.

We don’t know your passwords

We never see the login information to your apps & we never store your passwords.

Cloudo is hosted on Digital Ocean, a highly scalable cloud computing platform with end-to-end security and privacy features built in. Our team takes additional pro-active measures to maintain a secure infrastructure and application environment. Digital Ocean servers are located exclusively in the US and EU. Only those within Digital Ocean who have a legitimate business need to have such information know the actual location of these data centers.

Digital Ocean has many years of experience in managing state-of-the-art data center security. The data centers are secured with a variety of physical controls to prevent unauthorized access. 256-bit Encrypted Communication

All Cloudo web application communications are encrypted over 256 bit SSL, which cannot be viewed by a third party and is the same level of encryption used by banks and financial institutions. Our infrastructure is hosted in a fully redundant environment, with access restricted to operations support staff only. This allows us to leverage complete firewall protection, private IP addresses and other security features.

We let you delete all the data connected to your account

When you decide to delete your account we delete all associated data that we have.

Strict Privacy Measures

Our Privacy Policy outlines specific details about how we safeguard information. Access to customer data by Cloudo employees is only used to assist with support and resolve customer issues. Violation of this policy is a serious matter, requiring investigation and appropriate disciplinary action, up to and including termination as well as legal action.

24/7 Security Monitoring

The in-house engineering team at Cloudo monitors ongoing security, performance and availability 24/7/365. The application is tested on an ongoing basis for security vulnerabilities, which are patched and deployed quickly after discovery.
